Direct TV HBO Channels: HBO Boxing Show’s Fights Worth Fighting For
Most people know the basic concept of one of today’s most violent sports, boxing, but contrary to popular belief, boxing is one of the oldest competitive sports still enjoyed today. Boxing has been around for so long, it has even been depicted on the walls of tombs in Egypt, dating from around 2000 to 1500 B.C. Boxing was also practiced by the empires of Ancient Rome and Greece. While the Greek fought with leather straps wrapped around their fists, the Romans used gloves wound with metal strips which promised a much more “interesting” show. Today’s boxing is of coarse much more civilized but it still carries on the tradition of heart pounding adrenaline that its ancient counterpart began.
One of the most popular and comprehensive ways to watch boxing at its best, is HBO Boxing. HBO Boxing has brought to us some of the greatest fights of modern history. Even though the roots of boxing sink thousands of years deep, there are still legends made in this spectacular sport all of the time. HBO Boxing’s first official event pitted George Foreman against the great Joe Frazier for only two rounds naming George Foreman the World Heavyweight Champion.
Since HBO Boxing’s first fight, there has been many great bouts such as “The rumble in the Jungle” where the legendary Muhammad Ali defeated George Foreman, and the more recent “Bite Fight” which featured Iron Mike Tyson devouring the ear of Evander Holyfield, which in turn, will forever remind us that this great sport is still packed full of as many surprises as adrenaline.

Three of the country’s hottest topless models are preparing to make appearances on the big screen after landing parts in a new Hollywood film. Glamour Model Madison Welch, Amii Grove and Rhian Sugden are all being lined up to appear in Your Highness - due out in cinemas in 2011 and starring the gorgeous Natalie Portman. The film will be directed by Gordon Green, the guy who directed us stoner comedy Pineapple Express, and promises to be another hit. News of the glamour models’ participation in the film was made by 32E babe Madison, during an interview with Zoo magazine. She recently appeared on BBC’s Top Gear programme when she took part in a rally with co-host James May, but said fans would be able to see more of her on the big screen soon. She said: “I’m going to be in a movie called Your Highness. I’m playing a tempress alongside Amii Grove and Rhian Sugden.” Your Highness is another stoner film, as the title suggests, but is a being classed as a period comedy. It will see Portman play a warrior princess who becomes the love interest of a lazy prince played by Danny McBride. He has to team up with his brother (played by James Franco of Spider-Man and Pineapple Express fame) to help get the girl and rescue his kingdom. As already mentioned, Madison has been on our TV sets before, as has Amii Grove, who featured earlier this year on a BBC documentary presented by children’s TV presenter Kirsten O’Brien.Amii, from Birmingham and is known as the Bum from Brum because of her fine ass, appeared topless on the show and gave advice to Kirsten, who was considering posing topless for lads’ mags. And Rhian Sugden also appeared on Glamour Girls, another BBC Three Documentary, looking at the glamour model industry in the UK. All three babes also appear on CandyCrib - a top website featuring thousands of photos and videos of topless and naked girls. Filming for Your Highness is due to begin this month in Ireland.
